A long puzzle. I needed a lot of advanced techniques, the hardest being coloring with 3 strong links and a w-wing connected by a kite. |

It sure was a loooooooong puzzle!
spoiler alert! This is the list of steps I used (and I cannot believe that all of them were really necessary):
a) trying to reduce those cells with many candidates still after basics, I looked at coloring:
coloring on 3 and x-wing on 9
After cleanup, an x-wing on 1 and a skyscraper (3)
b) An xy-wing 78-18-17 in the upper left (I don't remember but I think it was boxes 1 and 4), then
c) that coloring ( on 8 ) with the many links involved. I guess this is the one ravel was talking about ...
d) an xyz-wing (actually TWO xyz-wings) pivoted on 7,8,9 in r9c9
e) a regular w-wing (<79> in r5c7 and r7c8, conncted via strong link on 7 in row 2)
f) finally, an xy-wing (actually two connected xy-wings) 89-19-18 (or 19-18-89) |
