From the local paper:

They do not say what will be required to solve it, although I can say this much: basics will not suffice.
I used multi-coloring to remove 8 from r6c4,
then an xyz wing 1,4,8 in row 8 + box 7, which removed 1 from both r8c1 and r8c2
and finally a kite "1" in row 8+column 4.
During the endgame I made use of a UR type 1 (79), but that was not strictly necessary ... |

nataraj, that kite on 1 is also an ER. strong link in col 4. does the same elimination.
better yet, your kite does one more elimination than the ER. |

The w-wing 18 solves it alone.
Nice song link in the other thread, nataraj |

I used an XYZ-Wing on 148, then one ER on 1 finishes it off. I don't know if the XYZ enabled the ER. |

Indeed it does ... and I could have seen it, too, if I hadn't been so quick to take the coloring elimination.
Glad you like the song, ravel. I'm a big fan of Bobby McFerrin. |

No one knew him, when he entered the stage solo with a rasta hairstyle. So some people also boo'd. After some songs, where he made the strangest sounds beating almost all parts of his "sounding body", the whole audience was enthusiastic.
[Edit:]Well, after looking at wikipedia, maximum 25 vears, so this was intended to be read in 5 vears on average |

And the Vienna Philharmonic orchestra selected Mr.McFerrin as their conductor for the "Concert for Europe" on May 25, 2004 ...
I guess we're getting sidetracked here. I promise: next post will be on the topic of sudoku again |
