I was working on the "July 19 DB" puzzle in Simple Sudoku but decided to transfer it to Susser in order to better understand/find xy-chains, which is the current area where I am trying to improve my skills. However, I could not successfully copy/paste the puzzle, either the partially solved or the original input versions.
I read the notes for Susser, but things just did not work. I did find a combination of copy/paste that Susser tried to resolve, but it gave me a puzzle different than the original. Another combination actually presented the desired puzzle in the "log" tab notes but not in the puzzle itself.
Does anyone know how to make the transfer happen?

"Copy" the puzzle from Simple Sudoku.
Open notepad and paste into it.
Highlight EITHER the markup or the givens and "copy" that.
Paste the clipboard into Susser! |
