I'm probably dozing, but how can I solve this puzzle from here without using advanced techniques? There's an obvious X-wing that will solve the puzzle, but we're supposed to be able to solve hard puzzles without using X wings, XY wings, etc. What did I miss?

dpm,
look at row 7.
The fives in row 7 must be in box 9.
That'll help you get going again.
(BTW, the x-wing (5) cols 2 and 5 provides exactly the same eliminations) |

Thanks, I must be asleep at the wheel today. That's the same X-wing I saw, but I completely missed the simple elimination. |
