Well, for the second time in succession, no advanced techniques at all and very quick (by my standards)...

That's twice in a row you got lucky. I can't remember when that last happened to me.... |

So, now I feel pretty foolish, but I am stuck here. I can't find an xy wing and have searched and searched. Can someone please ease my pain. Thanks.

Hello Kathy,
The reason you can't find an XY-Wing is that you still need to perform a Locked Candidate 2 elimination to expose two XY-Wings. Either XY-Wing will then crack the puzzle.
Note: there are 3x Locked Candidate 2 present in your PM, but only one exposes the XY-Wings.
Regards, Danny
FWIW: There is a Skyscraper in your current PM that'll bypass everything I said above ... and crack the puzzle. |

Or to put it another way that I can understand, the center column in box 7 must contain the 3 in that box since the rest of that column in the boxes above it doesn't contain a 3. Therefore, the 3 can be removed as a possible choice for the r7c1 cell, setting up the 21-18-82 xy-wing which makes r7c4 a 1. |
