I solved this puzzle without chains, but with a pseudo-cell as a pincer for a w-wing (which could be viewed as a chain). My three steps were: Quote: | coloring on <7>,
w-wing78 with pincer <78> at r2c6 and pseudo-cell pincer <79>-<98> at r1c23 and strong link <7> in row8
w-wing 39 with pincers at r3c6 & r5c2 and strong link <3> again in row8. |

I used two ERs (3&7), a Type 4 UR (35), an X-Wing (3) and an XY-Wing (583). |
