I managed this with finned-x-wings and xy wings.
The oddest part I found was a wxyz-wing, which I suspect is an als as well.
Fun puzzle! |

wapati: Would you please do me a favor and post your solution. I can't duplicate it. Thanks! |

There are two x-wings on 7s here, pick one.
Code: | .---------------------.---------------------.---------------------.
| 2 158 178 | 15 1578 6 | 4 9 3 |
| 34 1389 6 | 1349 1389 39 | 5 2 7 |
|#3457 359 49-7 | 23459 359-7 #27 | 6 1 8 |
:---------------------+---------------------+---------------------:
| 345 3589 489 | 6 359 39 | 2 7 1 |
|#57 1259 19-7 | 1259 4 #27 | 8 3 6 |
| 6 123 17 | 123 137 8 | 9 5 4 |
:---------------------+---------------------+---------------------:
| 1 6 5 | 7 2 4 | 3 8 9 |
| 9 7 3 | 8 6 5 | 1 4 2 |
| 8 4 2 | 39 39 1 | 7 6 5 |
'---------------------'---------------------'---------------------' |
xy-wing to set up the wxyz-wing.
Code: | .---------------------.---------------------.---------------------.
| 2 158 178 | 15 178 6 | 4 9 3 |
|#34 138-9 6 | 1349 18 #39 | 5 2 7 |
| 3457 359 #49 | 2345-9 35-9 27 | 6 1 8 |
:---------------------+---------------------+---------------------:
| 345 3589 489 | 6 359 39 | 2 7 1 |
| 57 1259 19 | 1259 4 27 | 8 3 6 |
| 6 23 17 | 23 17 8 | 9 5 4 |
:---------------------+---------------------+---------------------:
| 1 6 5 | 7 2 4 | 3 8 9 |
| 9 7 3 | 8 6 5 | 1 4 2 |
| 8 4 2 | 39 39 1 | 7 6 5 |
'---------------------'---------------------'---------------------' |
I'm pretty sure that this is an ALS and a chain as well as a WXYZ-wing,
call it as you see it.
Code: | .-------------------.------------------.------------------.
| 2 158 178 | 15 178 6 | 4 9 3 |
|#34 138 6 | 1349 18 39 | 5 2 7 |
| 457-3 #359 #49 | 2345 #35 27 | 6 1 8 |
:-------------------+------------------+------------------:
| 345 3589 489 | 6 359 39 | 2 7 1 |
| 57 1259 19 | 1259 4 27 | 8 3 6 |
| 6 23 17 | 23 17 8 | 9 5 4 |
:-------------------+------------------+------------------:
| 1 6 5 | 7 2 4 | 3 8 9 |
| 9 7 3 | 8 6 5 | 1 4 2 |
| 8 4 2 | 39 39 1 | 7 6 5 |
'-------------------'------------------'------------------' |
Then there is an x-wing on 3s and an xy-wing to finish.
First time through I did un-needed finned x-wing on 3s and 5s and 2 xyz-wings,
I think, also. |

how about this for a first move?
(2)r6c4 = (2-3)r6c2 = (3)r4c12 - (3)r4c6 = (3)r2c6 - (3=4)r2c1 - (4)r2c4 = (4)r3c4; r3c4 <> 2
and this for a second move
(4=3)r4c1 - (3)r4c6 = (3)r2c6 - (3=9)r3c5 - (9=4)r3c3; r4c3 <> 4
