Danny, you seem to be on a real BBDB roll, and this is another example. For me it was another eight step puzzle with a mixture of techniques. No one move was spectacular, but all were fun.

Ted Very Happy

Ted, I try to pick puzzles that need several steps while keeping those steps realistic for the difficulty level shown. Sometimes people find that not all of my steps are necessary, and other times they don't catch an important step and are forced to find a way around.

Bottom Line: I hope everyone is happy working my puzzles! For sure, if there is a question, or problem, or someone wants to see my solution, I'd be happy to reply through the forum or through a private message (pm).

Regards, Danny

up to my same old tricks,
just starting from a strong pair as Danny pointed out before...
and working the chain from the middle out.
Code:
.------------------.------------------.------------------.
| 3678  257   2358 | 4     89    1    | 2789  3689  238  |
| 348   9     1    | 6     2     7    |E58    3458  348  |
| 4678  247  A28   |H89    3     5    | 2789  4689  1    |
:------------------+------------------+------------------:
| 5     6     4    | 1     89    2    | 3     89    7    |
| 2     3     7    |G89    5     4    |F89    1     6    |
| 1     8     9    | 7     6     3    | 4     2     5    |
:------------------+------------------+------------------:
| 38    1    B238  | 5     4     9    | 6     7     238  |
| 9     45    358  | 2     7     6    | 1     3458  348  |
| 47   C2457  6    | 3     1     8    |D25    45    9    |
'------------------'------------------'------------------'

using the strong link in 2's in box 7, seeing the {2,8} cell at A and the {2,5} cell at D and working out from there.
(8=2)A - (2)B = (2)C - (2=5)D - (5=8}E - (8}F = (8}G; H is not 8

Code:
.------------------.------------------.------------------.
| 6     257   235  | 4     8     1    | 27    9    A23   |
|E38    9     1    | 6     2     7    | 58   F345  G348  |
| 47    247  D28   | 9     3     5    | 278   6     1    |
:------------------+------------------+------------------:
| 5     6     4    | 1     9     2    | 3     8     7    |
| 2     3     7    | 8     5     4    | 9     1     6    |
| 1     8     9    | 7     6     3    | 4     2     5    |
:------------------+------------------+------------------:
| 38    1    C238  | 5     4     9    | 6     7    B238  |
| 9     45    358  | 2     7     6    | 1     345   348  |
| 47    2457  6    | 3     1     8    | 25    45    9    |
'------------------'------------------'------------------'

using the strong links on 2 in row 7... which see the {2,3} cell at A and the {2,8} cell at D. extends to E.
(3=2)A - (2)B = (2)C - (2=8}D - (8=3)E; both F and G is not 3.

Remote pairs twice with 89s, an ER on 2, XY-Wing on 457, XYZ-Wing on 238 and an M-Wing on 27.
