Thanks Marty. I see where my problem lay, I was at the previous step to your grid, I hadn't noticed that in the bottom left box 1 had to be on the bottom row of that box and so hadn't excluded the 1s in the other three cells as soon as I did that and got to your stage of the grid where the XY wing does it. I really shouldn't do these puzzles when I'm so tired. |
