Hello Marty,
Actually, many of my puzzles contain a larger fish -- usually of the finned Franken variety. It's because I use templates in the puzzle generator to catch any fish patterns present. I don't look for these larger fish when processing the puzzles for the forum. As it turns out, there are often smaller, turbot fish present and they are sufficient to help solve the puzzles. Other times, the fish isn't needed in the solution, and I never know it's present because my solver doesn't need/list it.
