Danny, this was a very fun puzzle. My four steps were
Quote: | Type 1UR (17)r89c38; r8c3<>17
Flightless w-wing 35 in r6c7 & r9c6 and SL (3)r69c4 plus transport (5)r9c6-r9c2=(5)r8c2*-r8c79=(5)r7c8**-r246c8=(5)r2c9; r8c7*,r46c8**,r46c9<>5
Flightless w-wing 35 in r8c9 & r9c6 and SL (5)r7c68 plus transport (3)r9c6-r9c4=(3)r6c4; r6c9<>3
BUG+2: (8)r8c4=(5)r8c6-(5=8)r8c2; r8c5<>8 |

This puzzle was tricky because it took concurrent URs to crack it.
Code: | r89c38 <17> UR Type 1.2223 r8c3<>17 concurrent
r78c34 <16> UR Type 4.2234 r8c34<>1

V nice Danny - something not as elegant I'm afraid and not as much fun as Ted's:
Quote: | XY Chain on 3s with pincers at r6c7 and r9c4 |

Danny, you surely beat me on that solution. I used the UR17, and glanced at the UR16 as a Type 3 and rejected it. My error........

I saw the concurrency and blew it big-time by not playing the 16 UR because I mistakenly thought it wasn't a help. |
