Why is it that there are usually "11 users on line" hereabouts? Are there really that many? Sometimes 8, sometimes 18, but usually 11.
After all, judging by who's actually posting, "Ain't Nobody Here But Us Chickens," to quote Asleep At The Wheel. |

Asleep at the Wheel!
Saw them once, late 1970's, a small town in New Jersey. Particularly enjoyed the slide guitar. Some years later, I did an essay on "punch line humor", including "No one but us chickens", an idea I got from William Safire's NY Sunday Times "On Language" column.
And, no. I have no clue about Lukes's rule of 11. Maybe they're on lead to 3 no trump?

So long as I don't have to play dummy.
I have noticed something similar although today we're stuck on 14 - one of which (me) is registered. |

IMO, there are "real" guests and there are search engine "bots". I believe that some of the search engine "bots" are connected most of the time. I believe that other search engine "bots" are connected periodically. |
