This is another good example of how a simple als strong link on a wing can make all the difference!
A wing with a simple als...
Quote: | w-wing-like(59) ; (9=45)r31c1 - r4c1=r4c5 - (5=9)r2c5 ; r2c3<>9, r3c5<>9 |
Or using "standard" wings (there may be a quicker path)
Quote: | xy-wing(15-2) r4c1 ; r9c3<>2
xy-wing(56-2) r1c3 ; r5c4<>2
w-wing(56) ; (6=5)r1c3 - r5c3=r5c6 - (5=6)r2c6 ; r2c3<>6, r1c5<>6
skyscraper(5) r2, r5 |

I used two XY-Wings, two URs and an ER. |

I'm glad this puzzle didn't create any problems. My solver performed a finned X-Wing first and that resulted in a UR Type 6 (minus one candidate) being encountered later. |
