After Basics: This doesn't crack the puzzle, but it's a little productive.

I found several steps that had limited impact including the AUR noted by Danny, but then I hit a winner; long but it did the dirty deed...........

I went down a long twisty route with this one. Looked like lots of DPs in the grid to me and eventually I found this one-stepper...
Code: | BUG-Lite(68-69-38-39)r1457c79 ; r5c9<>3
(1)r5c9
||
(3)r8c9
||
(3)r9c7 - (3=1)r9c5 - (1=8)r5c5 - (8=3)r5c7
||
(9)r8c9 - (3)r8c9=(3-2)r8c3=r8c6 - (2=1)r4c6 - (1=8)r5c5 - (8=3)r5c7 | Then I realised I was being thick! As the second and fourth streams are conjugates this m-wing-like AIC does the same job...
Code: | (3=8)r5c6-(8=1)r5c5-(1=2)r4c6 - r8c6=(2-3)r8c3=r8c9 ; r5c9<>3 |
