|
|
Hi,
I know, nobody has yet solved the previous Zen sudoku.
Now on the 1. April it's time for an other one.
We just take the old (unsolved) one:
Code: | 6.2.5....
.....4.3.
.........
43...8...
.1....2..
......7..
5..27....
.......81
...6..... |
and swap in row 2 the digits 4 and 3:
Code: | 6.2.5....
.....3.4.
.........
43...8...
.1....2..
......7..
5..27....
.......81
...6..... |
Small change, but the difficulty level is the same.
If you find an other one, at this level, please post it, I will be glad to break the rest of my brain cells on it ;-)
see u, |

This is my solution for the second puzzle. I start from here:
Code: | 6 4789 2 | 14789 5 479 | 1389 179 39
1789 5789 15789 | 1789 169 3 | 1689 4 2
13789 4789 134789 | 14789 1469 2 | 1689 15679 569
----------------------------------------------------------------
4 3 5679 | 1579 2 8 | 169 1569 569
789 1 56789 | 34579 349 45679 | 2 3569 48
289 25689 5689 | 13459 1349 4569 | 7 13569 48
----------------------------------------------------------------
5 4689 134689 | 2 7 149 | 3469 69 369
279 24679 4679 | 3459 349 459 | 4569 8 1
139 49 1349 | 6 8 1459 | 3459 2 7
|
1. If r4c4=7:
r1c6=7, r1c2<>7, r3c8=7, r3c2<>7, r3c9=5, triple 489 in r139c2, r7c2=6, r8c7=6
no 6 for box 3 left => r4c3=7
2. If r7c2=8:
pair r68c2=26, r2c2=5, (r1c2|r3c2=7) r23c13<>7, r2c4=7, r5c6=7, r4c3=7, r8c1=7, r8c2=2, r6c2=6
no 6 in column 6 left => r7c3=8
This brings me here:
Code: | 6 4789 2 | 14789 5 479 | 1389 179 39
1789 5789 159 | 1789 169 3 | 1689 4 2
13789 4789 1349 | 14789 1469 2 | 1689 15679 569
----------------------------------------------------------------
4 3 7 | 159 2 8 | 169 1569 569
89 1 569 | 34579 349 45679 | 2 3569 48
289 25689 569 | 13459 1349 4569 | 7 13569 48
----------------------------------------------------------------
5 469 8 | 2 7 1 | 3469 69 369
27 27 469 | 3459 349 459 | 4569 8 1
13 49 13 | 6 8 459 | 459 2 7
|
If r5c6=6:
(a) r6c2=6,r8c2=2, r8c1=7,
(b) r5c4=7, r1c6=7, r3c9=7 r2c2=7
no 5 for column 2 => r6c6=6,
what finally solves the puzzle,

Sorry, checking it again, i saw, that i made a mistake, when i tried to simplify the last chain. The right one is:
If r5c6=6:
r5c4=7, r1c6=7, r3c8=7, r2c2=7,
r3c9=5, (r1c7|r2c7|r3c7=6) r8c7<>6, r8c3=6, r6c2=6
The 3 chains also solve the first puzzle. I noticed, that these "twin sudokus" (2 numbers changed) mostly have very similar solution paths. |

Darned, still uncomplete
If r5c6=6:
r5c4=7, r1c6=7, r3c8=7, r3c9=5, (r1c7|r2c7|r3c7=6) r8c7<>6, r8c3=6, r6c2=6,
r6c1=2, r8c1=7, r2c2=7 |
