Clearly the w-wing is the simplest solution but walking around the entire grid is more fun......

axy-wing(26-8)r9c9+r2c9|r7c7=(*4-2)r2c9=r2c8-(2=9)r9c8-(59=7)r8c78-r8c12=r7c1-r3c1=r3c9-(4*7=8)r1c9; r2c7,r7c9<>8

I'll take issue with that. How about the XYZ-Wing on 678 pivoted in r7c9? Laughing

Recently several posts have solved puzzles with a xyz-wing. I may have to start explicitly looking for them again since my tact of treating them as a variation of almost xy-wings does not seem to be working.
