I remember a discussion a few years ago on this forum, when Asellus mentioned that planets would be one possible alternative to numbers in sudoku.
Now I thought that today being such a special day, when different date formats do not cause confusion on one side of the Atlantic or the other, I'll come back to that suggestion and create a special "Planets" sudoku.
The difficulty level is "easy", so do not expect any fish or kite or hidden adulterous pairs, but the unfamiliar symbols add a different type of challenge: so many of the "hard"wirded solution paths get disrupted when one cannot simply count one-two-three but must try to remember: Mercury, Venus, ...
and, yes, I let Pluto be a planet for this one puzzle
