Initially, I could not refuse the coloring(6), which resulted in the following code.

Then I found this Almost AIC:
AAIC with (25=7)r9c3
[(4=2)r7c2-(2=5)r9c3-(5=6)r9c7-r5c7=r5c3-(6=4)r2c3 => r2c2<4> r2c2<4> r2c2<>4

I also made a quick second pass but did not find a better solution. Overall, this was a harder than normal Free Press puzzle for me.

In Ted's second grid there is a 38 UR, taking out 3 in R4C35.

Note the DP 28 23 38 in R456C35. One of R45C3 must be 6, solving R2C3 as 4, and the puzzle.

I used: Coloring on 6 DP 27-37-23, common outcomes UR 38
