I never heard of finned swordfish before (so I looked it up). Do any of the VH puzzles on this site require knowing techniques more advanced than X, XY, and XYZ wings? I think I recall one that I couldn't solve where someone posted that it required a W wing (so I looked it up too). Thanks in advance! |

Don,
The VH puzzles can be solved by (and require at least one of) an X, XY, or XYZ Wing. Occasionally one sneaks through that does not require an "advanced" move.
Posters like to find other moves, like skyscrapers and W-wings, particularly if the puzzle can then be solved with only one advanced move.
