I butchered this thing, playing three X-Wings before noticing the XY-Wing, or maybe I had incomplete basics before starting looking. |

I saw the 136 XYZ-wing pivoted r6c5; r6c6<>3 first. Strange because I usually see XY wings way before XYZ wings. Can someone explain what does the stte in Clements solution mean ?
Thanks,

stte = singles to the end (all that remain to complete the puzzle are singles). |

Thanks arkietech, if I learn the terminology and apply it I am hoping to get better. I also think your username is very clever and hope to some day understand your solution posts. You seem to be at a very high level of sudokuness and I appreciate the sharing of your wisdom. |
