After basics:

Code:
+--------------+----------------+-------------+
| 6   18   17  | 4    3   78    | 5   9   2   |
| 28  89   279 | 5678 1   5678  | 3   67  4   |
| 3   4    5   | 267  9   267   | 1   67  8   |
+--------------+----------------+-------------+
| 1   2    49  | 3    7   45    | 6   8   59  |
| 7   5689 469 | 1256 468 12456 | 249 245 3   |
| 458 568  3   | 256  468 9     | 24  1   7   |
+--------------+----------------+-------------+
| 9   13   124 | 18   5   148   | 7   234 6   |
| 45  1356 146 | 179  2   147   | 8   345 59  |
| 245 7    8   | 69   46  3     | 249 245 1   |
+--------------+----------------+-------------+

Then I used the following chain:

(5=4)r4c6 - r78c6 = (4-6)r9c5 = (6-9)r9c4 = r8c4 - (9=5)r8c9 => r4c9 <> 5; stte.

Hello Clement

After basics a slightly longer chain and more long hand notation (sorry its been a while)

Code:

+---------------+-----------------+--------------+
| 6   18   17   | 4    3   78     | 5   9   2    |
| 28  89   279  | 5678 1   5678   | 3   67  4    |
| 3   4    5    | 267  9   267    | 1   67  8    |
+---------------+-----------------+--------------+
| 1   2    49   | 3    7   45     | 6   8   59   |
| 7   5689 469  | 1256 468 12456  | 249 245 3    |
| 458 568  3    | 256  468 9      | 24  1   7    |
+---------------+-----------------+--------------+
| 9   13   124  | 18   5   148    | 7   234 6    |
| 45  1356 146  | 179  2   147    | 8   345 59   |
| 245 7    8    | 69   46  3      | 249 245 1    |
+---------------+-----------------+--------------+

-9(r8c4)=9(r8c9)-9(r4c9)=9(r4c3)-4(r4c3)=4(r4c6)-4(r7c6|r8c6)=4(r9c5)-6(r9c5)=6(r9c4)-9(r9c4)=9(r8c4) so r8c4 must be 9

Following the strong links from 9s onto 4's then 6's you get a discontinuous loop
9 is contradicted IN at r8c4.

I'm confused Mohulmeister because you concluded that r8c4 <> 9 but I ended up with a 9 in that cell when I solved it! Could you doublecheck your solution?

Thanks Dongrave. I meant to support the contradiction that r8c4 is 9 even when you begin the chain by pulling 9 out at the start.

I have amended it accordingly !

My solution maybe a rehash of these chains, but I solved it like this:

r56c5 <> 4 as then r9c4 =9 and r4c9 = 9 leading to no 9's in box 9
