Or you could have r8c3 <> 6
as then r7c2=1 r4c2=2 r4c3=3 gives r6c3 also 6 |

r6c2<>6 using the same logic
I suppose you could also say that whatever the contents of r7c2 (1 or 6) r6c3 is always 6 |

Exactly.
Plug 1 into r7c2 and if you follow the 1s in the loop below it removes itself from r7c2 meaning it must be 6.
(1)r7c2-r4c2=r4c9-r5c9=r5c5-r6c6=r7c6-(1)r7c2
so r7c2 and r6c3 must be 6 and r6c2, r8c3<>6 |
