LOL!!! Blind spots indeed! I went through the motions with Draw/Play just to see if I could pinpoint it's weakness. It clearly has trouble identifying Naked Triples, or at least in this case it had trouble. Then it tries to give a hint, but fails doing that, stating that the puzzle is either too hard or perhaps it is an invalid puzzle with multiple solutions. ROTFLMAO!!!

It's a wonder it doesn't stump itself sometimes with some of it's creations. LOL!! A new difficulty category perhaps may need to be added...STUMP THE STUPID!!!
I really am in tears laughing now...whew...

A few years ago when I realized that Sam had flaws in his computer program, I contacted Marty and offered to send him a simple algorithm in the form of pseudo-code that would correct this problem! (I had programmed computers for 40 years and I could see that his algorithm was obviously flawed.) Marty was interested - but he said that he could not promise anything. I sent him a message anyway with an algorithm that Sam could at least reference to see what he was doing wrong! Unfortunately nothing ever came of it. He's obviously been using the same old flawed algorithm that he used back when this site was founded. |

That’s very interesting dongrave and bravo for sure. As you probably know, Keith and Marty never seemed to be able to get Sam G-J onside over certain issues. This site certainly has the feel of the Blind Watchmaker* about it.
