I have just started looking at this feature and have a couple of questions:
1) Suppose I have something like this in a row: 24-24-345. Is there a way I can do what I'd do with with a pencil and eraser, which is to get rid of the "4" from the 345 cell?
2) I input one of the "Nightmare" puzzles which ran into a brick wall right from the git-go when I did it with pencil and paper. I solved three cells early, then couldn't even eliminate a candidate. Trying for a hint gave the message that a hint couldn't be provided because of an error or too hard or unsolvable, I can't remember the wording.
So I removed the three cells I had already solved so that the puzzle was then in its published form. Three successive hints gave me the cells I had already solved, then the same "We can't give a hint" message. On that site's forum, there is no mention of this puzzle, which I assume there would have been had it been invalid.
So what am I to make of the inability of Draw/Play to provide a hint? |

I would also be interested in the first point that Marty made. I find the draw function very useful for puzzles where I am left with a lot of 'white space' after filling in the easier numbers. |

You mean you want to remove a pencilmark? Sure -- hold down ctrl or alt and hit the number. The kicker is that if you "sweep" subsequently, or use "auto sweep" then then numbers you remove manually will get re-added. but you're probably not doing that :)

Draw/Play currently knows about X-wings and the "simple" logic steps. And it doesn't know how to guess. If the puzzle needs more, then it can't tell whether it is solvable or not. Obviously the aim is for this not to be true!
